A tidbit from page three I'm stuck on that is making me question my understanding of "sense certainty":

He talks about how a truth is something that when written down or understood is not diminished. However, my understanding was that the reason sense-certainty is so important* (*of note? whatever- for lack of a better term- "worth talking about") is that it is the purest way to understand something. I hesitate to even use the word 'understand', maybe 'perceive' or 'interact with' would be more appropriate for the immediacy he's talking about. But this idea that understanding knowledge doesn't diminish it... it really seemed like up until this point he thought in the act of processing something we separate it from reality and make it our own in a way that is less objectively true.

Tell me in the comments if I'm missing something.
