Also some dancing as usual- today I’m feeling tender in terms of lovin my body. I love her, don’t get me wrong but sometimes the societal conditioning that’s been spoon fed to me since I was a little girl gets the better of me- sometimes I see my body as too little, “unwomanly”, “not feminine enough” because of the “lack” of curves, bust or size to me. So today I’m being slow & gentle with my mind & body as I dive into the reasons why I feel my body is not enough. And also understanding that my body is merely a shell of the amazing soul inside and finding that balance of self love within as well as out.
I adore my athletic figure but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that some days I don’t struggle & look at my body and wish there was more to her- more curves, more bust, just more to me.
Self lovin is a funny thing isn’t it. Just another day on the roller coaster! Thankyou for holding a space where I can freely express - I hope you too, feel the same. 💗✨
