It’s everything and NOTHING like I ever dreamed it would be 🤣🤣🤣
Let’s start with some random tings shall we?:
Outdoor showers: overcoming anxiety of what people may think when I gots the soap out in public & actually bringing my thoughts inwards again for presence of the moment. (Still a work in progress each time, but finding joy in it more & more) 🚿
Meeting new people: As much as I f*cking desire & love connecting with hoomans, it’s always felt like SUCH a daunting thing for me, anxiety was super debilitating for me growing up. ANYWHO, I always heard that u JUST have to take that first step & things will start to fall in place/ you will start to come across people on the road but I honestly couldn’t wrap my head around it… but ya wanna know something crazyyyyy??? … ITS HAPPENING, it’s actually freakin happening & it’s so beautiful! Some are intense, fleeting connections & others I feel will be around for a long time! The more I surrender, the more I allow… the more get to dance with life. 🕺
Food: I will say my hardest “battle” has probably been around food. I never really learnt how to cook growing up, and so when I first moved out into an apartment, July last year, for a 6 month lease, I finally started to build up my confidence in the kitchen… but as you know my van doesn’t exactly have those same types of appliances- so now I’m on a new journey of finding meals I enjoy, that I can cook while on the road and everything in between. I will admit that buying meals made with love has been something I’ve allowed myself to indulge in while I find my feet (also cause cleaning up sucks sometimes 🤣) … so if you ever wanna treat me in a practical way- digital gift cards (so I can get stress free yummy yums) are a way to go (I do love lingerie spoils, but practicality right now serves me best 💕)
