A hand sign and random phrase takes 15 seconds to send back and anyone real in the lifestyle will fully understand why you're asking. Fakes will come up with endless excuses why they're too busy or "the wife is at her parents", sure she is bud 😂. Here's an example video. You would make your own version with any hand sign or motion you can think of. When the conversation has gotten to the point you don't want to invest more time without knowing they're real (this should be pretty early) send over that video on Snapchat, Kik, WhatsApp, etc. and require they send back a video making the same hand sign AND repeating a random phrase you made up on the spot like "Floor Airplane Oranges". Fakes seem really interested in wanting to waste my time, so I also set a 10 minute time limit on their video being sent back. Funny story on how that time limit came to be, one particularly clever fake paid another creator to make the verification video I requested and sent it to me. Luckily something about the entire situation seemed off and I ended up figuring out who the creator was through reverse image searches and reached out to her on Twitter, surprise surprise, it wasn't really her I was talking with. As a final bit of advice, do not compromise on your verification process. Fakes will try to guilt you into a different method they can more easily cheat (paper sign, body writing, voice, etc.), but you have to ignore them, it will save you so much time and frustration in the end.
