Added 2020-06-21 13:00:44 +0000 UTCAfter we visited the natural hot spring in Bolivia, we found a small hostel miles away in the darkness of the volcanic region and decided to crash there for the night. At $6/night including breakfast, how could we pass it up? Nestled in warm blankets while dogs howled from afar (or close), we slept through the night grateful for our incredible day at the volcano. We awoke to the smell of coca tea and fresh bread. As we packed our backpacks, spread butter on our toast, and waved goodbye, we were in awe of how amazing the past 48 hours had been in this little corner of the world. How lovely it was to not only spend time in such a special part of the world, but to have a friend to do it with. Thinking back on these moments brings tears to my eyes and makes my heart skips a beat. On our drive back to La Paz, we made a point to stop and get creative where we saw beauty, including these photos. It was everywhere around us, within us. I'm so grateful to be alive. Can't wait to travel again and share with you all the beauty that's out there.
