💜We tend to envy the successes of our friends and foes, the happy coincidence of someone else's life, a stranger passing by in an expensive car, a reverently embracing couple in love passing us by, someone's magical children, warm glances in a cafe not given to us, cozy photos of a distant, unfamiliar life. We perceive their lives filled to the brim, so bright, so happy, so happened, so accomplished - because we know nothing about their suffering and pain, their sorrows, difficulties, and fears, and the path they had to follow until that very moment when we "caught" them in that unforgiving moment of happiness. We caught the moment by measuring a lifetime by it. What prevents us from doing the same with our happy moments? Aren't they what life weaves such appealing other people's happiness out of?💜
