Yessss! Many of you got the right answer to my last post. That's how it is! The device that appeared in the image is a HANS, an impact retention system. Essential for racing! What is an FHR System and how is it different to a HANS Device? Well, quite simply, very little! “FHR” stands for “frontal head restraint” – and from now on is the name you’re probably going to see used most often when referring to the device that used to be known as a HANS (head and neck support). HANS is now a trademarked term – so only certain manufacturers are allowed to use it. It’s really the same thing as asking, “What’s the difference between a Dyson and a vacuum cleaner?”

I present to you the TERRATRIP. An INDISPENSABLE tool for cross-country rallyes. I usually take part in rallyes where, prior to the race, I take pacenotes of the stages. To follow the stage correctly I use a terratrip directly in an app on my mobile, but later in the race we already know the way. Bajas, cross-country, Dakar... it's different. Here we do not recognize the stages previously, we went directly to run and with the ROADBOOK, I indicate to my driver where to go. For this reason we need a precise measurement tool (like the one in picture) to know which way to go, in which direction, what dangers we are going to find (holes, jumps, water, ravines...)
