Good news! Our Florida shoot house made it through Hurricane Ian with only very minor cosmetic damage to our pool cage, with a few screens ripped out. That's it. No flooding, no structural damage and our power is on today. We got VERY lucky because many of the areas all around our neighborhood got it bad - really bad. Hubby and I feel grateful for our safety and for the lack of property damage and we feel empathy towards the multitude of others in FL who are in dire straits from the storm.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE! Hubby and I are currently at our shoot house in FL, right in the path of Hurricane Ian and it's going to be bad when it hits land in a few hours. This storm is going to cause catastrophic damage to a very large area of Florida and, frankly, our primary concern is safety at this point. We are hunkering down and will ride it out but in addition to losing power & water utilities we also expect property damage to our home. It's impossible to predict details. Steve and I appreciate all the well-wishes we are receiving from fans but please understand that I do not have time to respond to DMs and won't until the storm has passed and we can assess any damage, so please be patient.
