Btw if you’re wondering about the attempted mugging- I was walking along ipanema beach with a friend I’d made (a french male tourist) and I was just talking. It was where a bloco (a massive street party) was happening so there were thousandssss of people. The guy asked if I wanted him to hold my phone and I said no don’t worry , we suddenly had two younng men appear from nowhere right up in our faces. I tried to turn around and my mugger got me by my neck in a chokkehold and told me to give him my phone. He had to reach across me to get it so I could hold it out of his way. Now I know you’re meant to give them everything but in the moment my adrenaline kicked in and I was ANGRY 😡 I thought nuh uh you don’t get my phone, I brought my arm back and elbowed him so hard in the ribs pushed him off me punched him and I ran in my flip flops in the sand as fast as I could until I reached a bunch of police (who did not care and said to leave before the gang killed me 😱) my poor french friend came up and they had pulled a knife on him and robbed him of EVERYTHING he had and pushed him to the floor 😢 as scary as it was I’m so proud I BEAT A BRASILIAN ROBBERS ASS 🤣🤣🤣 little old me!!!! I escaped with my phone, cards, money, and only a small neck injury (from the chokke hold). The french guy thought I was crazy for travelling alone before- after he said he understood now I am perfectly capable of looking after myself 😅💖💞💗💝💞 Hehe what a tale huh!? I’m glad someone else was there or people may not believe me The funniest thing is.... I didn’t want them to take my phone as it’s where all my homemade porn is on and all my videos for you guys 🤣🤣🤣 I risked my life to save my dirty vids hahahaha
