✨ If you think about it, Smith Machine lunges aren’t really lunges at all 🤨. You can’t lunge forward.. you can only squat up and down. So really you’re just performing one legged squats, which makes this perfect for muscle imbalances, which I have!! ⚖️

✨I am obsessed with waist trainers!
⏳ I put it on for about 30 minutes everyday & half way through I’ll adjust. I start with it higher up and then 15 minutes in I’ll adjust it lower ⌛️

👉🏽 Delayed onset muscle soreness is a result of small tears to your muscle fibers. ⏳Pain usually begins to develop between 12-24 hours after your workout, and peaks after 24-72 hours!
💪🏽 1. Get in some light movement (it can be painful at first but an increase of bl00d flow should do the trick💕)

🔥🍑 My 3 Favorite Booty Lift Workouts
👉🏽 1. Kettle Ball Squats: I used a 35lb kettle ball today ✨ I placed 5lb plates under my heels for an extra challenge! Tip: Elevating the heels 📈 allows for the knees to pass the toes to a greater extent
👉🏽 2. Weighted Sumo Squats: I used a 25lb weight & added in an extra movement 🏃🏼♀️
👉🏽 3. Squat Rack: 🏋🏼♀️ I started at 50lbs, then 60lbs, and ended at 75lbs! I added 2.5lb plates to elevate my knees again! 🍑

-This is my new obsession 🤩 adding an unstable surfaces really adds extra difficulty while increasing the number of muscles being used! 👈🏽
Step-Up Knee Raise✨
-I added extra height today so I’m able to go lower into a deeper stretch while holding a 30lb weight!
Stability Ball Ab Tuck✨
-This is one of the most challenging yet most rewarding core exercises! I love an extra challenge so I put sand at the bottom!

The key I’ve learned is to just take a few minutes out of each day and get a couple moves in.. even if you’re sore from the gym and on vacation 😉🌴

3 Go To Resistance Band Workouts ✨☀️🌻
✨1. Lateral Walk: Loop resistance band just above you’re knees (for more intensity add another one around your ankles). Drop into a half squat position with your feet shoulder-width apart to create tension. Take small steps from side to side, keeping tension in the bands as you move!
✨2. Glue bridge: Loop the resistance band just above your knees and lie on your back with your feet on the floor and your knees bent at 90°. Lift your toes off the floor, raise your hips forming a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Open yours knees slightly pressing against the band, contracting your glutes throughout the entire movement!
✨3. Front Squat: Stand on the resistance band with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Hold up band and rest on the front of your shoulders. Lower into a squat, with your chest up and yours knees over your toes!
