Hiiii y’all 🤪 it’s been a really stressful week with the holiday and my unexpected big move to Central America I’ve been running around like a mad woman to get everything done before Thursday 🙈 Swipe for my favorite travel apps and be sure to download them before your next trip for the best deals & to stay organized! 📝 As someone who travels for a living my advice to you is to get everything taken care of well in advance... ✈️ •read blogs about where you’re going and what you need before entering the country •during corona check travel updates as countries have different entry requirements •make copies of all your important documents (drivers license, health insurance, passport) •use travel bags that minimize space in your suitcase, also a helpful way to organize your stuff •pack an extra pair of clothes, underwear and mini toiletries in your carry on •always check-in for your flight ASAP, airlines will over book flights on purpose to get the most money possible and you don’t wanna lose your seat!

Well it’s official I’m on my way back to Mexico next week 🙈 kind of excited even though this was not the plan at all! I guess the lesson is... life is extremely uncertain and all we can do is learn to roll with the punches... or in my case the margaritas 😆 🍹 How do you normally deal with unexpected circumstances? Thinking of better days... oh wait I’m heading back to Mexico this week 😂 🌞 who would’ve thought! When life throws a curveball make a vacation out of it I guess!! Of course I’m so sad I won’t be with my family for thanksgiving, I was so much looking forward to meeting my nephews for the first time and spending time with my family after a year but I guess for some reason that wasn’t meant to be the plan. Although I still don’t know why this all had to happen I hope a few months down the road there will be that “ah ha” moment 🤞🏽

Well y’all... it’s been the hardest 24 hours of my life. Sat in customs for over 9 hours trying to enter the US from Mexico and had serious issues with the border police and not letting my boyfriend enter the US. So here’s a happy picture of me in mexico before this mess... I haven’t responded to any DMs or sent out content as I have no idea what we do or where we go now. And everything is kind of a blur. It looks like I’ll be on a plane back to Mexico tomorrow to fly to meett him there. Anyone ever had issues like this? How do you handle fuckedd up situations?! Please send lots of positive vibes our way and feel free to send me cute dog pics to cheer me up as I haven’t slept in almost 24 hours. 😭 I know this page is supposed to be full of happy and fun travel content but this is the reality of travel sometimes, it’s not easy and it’s unfair and you never know what will happen. This was totally unexpected for us as he had a valid visa. They detained him for 24 hours and he has no access to a phone so we haven’t even been able to speak and I have no idea why they didn’t let him enter. I’m sorry to bring the energy down but I just wanted to let you know what’s going on with me and how heart broken I am right now but you are all very important to me and I always want to be real!
